The Valet position at Atlantic Shores is a unique and rewarding role, perfectly suited for experienced drivers who possess a genuine passion for providing heartfelt, high-quality service. Working within the Resident Services team, the valet driver is responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of community residents to various scheduled and non-scheduled activities, both on and off campus. This part-time role requires a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement, as the incumbent will operate a 16-passenger bus. Hours for this position include Sunday church shuttle runs as well as evening and weekend trips and shows, with shifts typically spanning from mid-morning to late afternoon and early evening. Schedules are thoughtfully posted one month in advance to provide flexibility and planning ease. Beyond operating the vehicle safely, the Valet serves as an ambassador of Atlantic Shores, engaging warmly with residents and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip inspections to confirm vehicle readiness, assisting residents with boarding and disembarking, maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of transportation vehicles, and strictly adhering to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, patience, and the ability to accommodate a broad range of personal needs.   • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current CDL license with Passenger Endorsement
  • Previous experience driving a 16-passenger bus
  • Must furnish official driving record from VA DMV
