The role of Dishwasher at The Kensington is a critical full-time position designed to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dining ware and kitchen equipment used daily by the kitchen staff. The position operates on a schedule from Friday to Tuesday, 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, offering a competitive pay range of $19.50 to $20 per hour. Additionally, new hires are eligible for a $500 hiring bonus, highlighting the company’s commitment to attracting dedicated and hardworking individuals. In this role, dishwashers play a vital part in maintaining the high standards of hygiene and efficiency required in a senior living facility’s food service operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading food service carts, delivering supplies and food as needed, washing and cleaning all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and supporting servers with dish clearing in the dining room. Maintaining clean and sanitary conditions extends beyond the kitchen to include storerooms and other designated areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff alike. Dishwashers are also responsible for sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, walk-in coolers, and related areas, contributing to the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.
