This full-time position is based in a busy bakery located in the Vineyard shopping center in South Tulsa and includes a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $15.50, reflective of the importance of the role and the skill required. The working hours are primarily Monday through Friday, with a need for occasional Saturday shifts during periods of high business volume and additional hours during key holiday seasons such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. This role heavily emphasizes manual dishwashing practices, given the sensitive nature of the bakery’s dishes and utensils, requiring the dishwasher to wash, rinse, and sanitize all baking pans, dishes, and tools by hand using a three-compartment sink and abiding by both Nothing Bundt Cakes' standards and local health department regulations. Beyond dishwashing, this position also involves assisting the baking team with production needs and routine cleaning tasks within the bakery. These duties include obtaining and maintaining a clean, organized workstation, cleaning various bakery areas including refrigerators, chillers, break areas, ovens, and bathrooms, as well as managing inventory and restocking cleaning supplies. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old, and while no prior experience is necessary due to on-site training provided, those with previous bakery or restaurant kitchen experience are highly valued. The candidate must be capable of obtaining a food handler’s permit after hiring, demonstrate the physical ability to perform repetitive manual tasks, have the strength to lift items up to 50 pounds frequently, and be able to stand for extended periods.
