The Director of Sales role at the River Inn of Harbor Town is a key leadership position focused on driving the hotel's revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This full-time, onsite opportunity is based in Jackson, Mississippi, where the successful candidate will be part of a passionate team dedicated to enhancing the hotel's market presence across multiple segments, including group bookings, corporate clients, leisure travelers, and special events. In collaboration with the General Manager and Revenue Management team, the Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategies, forecasting performance, and ensuring sales goals align with the hotel's overall business objectives. The position involves leading and motivating a dynamic sales team, identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and representing the hotel at various networking events and trade shows to build and sustain key partnerships with corporate clients, travel planners, and local organizations.                 - bachelor's degree preferred
 - minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience
 - at least 2 years in a leadership role
 - proficiency in CRM and PMS software
 - strong communication and negotiation skills
 - ability to work onsite in Jackson, MS
 - availability for travel to industry events
