The Director of Restaurant Operations position at SSP America offers a unique leadership role within the fast-paced environment of an airport terminal. This full-time role, with a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year plus potential quarterly and year-end bonuses, involves overseeing multiple facets of restaurant operations to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. The Director will lead management teams and hourly staff in implementing new products and promotional initiatives, driving consistent training and development efforts, and maintaining meticulous food safety and service standards. Responsibilities include conducting routine quality audits, managing financial controls including labor and food costs, and collaborating with senior regional leadership to devise innovative operational solutions tailored to the unique challenges of airport food concessions.
This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in full-service restaurant management, ideally with bar operations and airport concession experience.                 - Bachelor's degree in culinary, hotel and restaurant management or related field or equivalent experience
 - 10+ years of full-service restaurant management experience with bar operations
 - 10+ years airport terminal food and beverage concessions experience preferred
 - 5+ years multi-unit restaurant management experience with direct reports
 - strong financial skills including labor cost control
 - proficiency with MS Office and POS systems
 - excellent communication and organizational skills
 - ability to work with diverse teams and handle conflict
