The role of Director of Marketing for the North American OEM Group is a key leadership position reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This executive is responsible for the strategic oversight, marketing direction, and partnership development for Lippert’s OEM business units which encompass four major markets: RV, Marine, Building, and Transportation Products. The Director manages a team of marketing professionals including directors, managers, content creators, and social media specialists dedicated to executing market strategies that enhance OEM product visibility and bolster Lippert’s position as a thought leader and top employer within these industries.
This role demands a seasoned marketing professional with at least 10 years of experience, robust leadership skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The Director of Marketing will collaborate with other marketing leaders to craft cohesive marketing plans, orchestrate product launches, implement digital initiatives, manage events, and drive social media engagement. A key responsibility is to foster strong internal communications, ensuring transparency and effective reporting to senior leadership including the Group President, SVP of Sales, and CEO.
The Director will leverage industry and market insights, working closely with the VP of Innovation and engineering leads to stay abreast of product developments and innovation trends. This position requires a strategic thinker with advanced analytical capabilities, creative vision, and excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders and lead successful marketing campaigns. Additionally, the role requires about 30% travel to engage directly with markets and partners.
