Acting as a key player, this role requires collaboration with state leadership teams focusing on commercial and operations strategies to optimize go-to-market delivery and ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain. Key responsibilities include managing and developing a proficient supervisory team to direct transportation operations and logistics associates, alongside budgeting responsibilities for the transportation department. The Transportation Manager must enforce compliance with organizational policy and industry standards, lead training initiatives including monthly safety meetings, and address issues such as accident reporting and employee performance counseling. This position requires a technology-savvy individual comfortable using transportation management platforms and is responsible for overseeing vehicle registration and compliance matters. Candidate requirements include a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least five years of experience in transportation or logistics management.
