As the Food & Beverage Director at Concord Hospitality, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing all food and beverage operations within the hotel. This includes overseeing restaurant outlets, banquet events, and in-room dining services. You will be responsible for driving financial performance by developing and implementing short-term and long-term financial and operational plans aligned with the hotel’s and Concord’s strategic goals. Your leadership will ensure that all food and beverage outlets operate seamlessly, maintaining high standards of product and service quality through regular evaluations, guest feedback analysis, and effective complaint resolution.
This role demands a hands-on leadership approach where you collaborate closely with culinary and service teams to deliver innovative service concepts and maintain impeccable service standards. You will design revenue-generating programs focused on maximizing guest satisfaction and value. A key part of this position includes empowering, training, and motivating team members to consistently exceed guest expectations. You will monitor food presentation, coordinate with kitchen staff to address any issues, and ensure flawless execution of group bookings and banquet events through proper service techniques.
Further responsibilities involve recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training qualified staff to meet service and performance standards. You will use performance data and operational insights to make strategic business decisions that enhance efficiency and profitability. Enforcing all Concord and brand standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service protocols is essential to maintaining brand consistency. In addition, you will oversee marketing initiatives to promote food and beverage outlets and seasonal offerings, continuously developing innovative programming to stay competitive in the local market. Building relationships within the local community to enhance public relations and strengthen brand presence is also a key aspect of the role.
