The role available is that of a Production Scheduler, which is essential for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of production operations within the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and maintaining production schedules for various production areas, ensuring that shop floor activities align accurately with planned schedules. This includes coordinating emergency orders, ensuring shop order accuracy, and collaborating closely with component shops to expedite the closing of shop orders while verifying data accuracy. The Production Scheduler must also work closely with production and planning teams to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or performance issues. A key part of the role involves outsourcing components to approved suppliers, taking into account internal capacity, load, and capabilities to optimize production flow. Effective communication of schedule changes and compliance with company safety policies are vital parts of the job. This full-time position requires a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred. The candidate should bring at least 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning, particularly with ERP/MRP systems and a strong understanding of shop floor control activities. A willingness to actively pursue APICS CPIM Certification is expected, highlighting the company’s focus on continuous professional development and operational excellence.
