The position available is for a Catering Sales Manager within their hotel division. This role plays a vital function in planning and managing the sales efforts of the hotel’s Catering Department, with a core objective to achieve superior customer satisfaction and outstanding service delivery while meeting or surpassing revenue and profit goals. The Catering Sales Manager will leverage strong prospecting and business acumen skills to consistently exceed catering revenue targets. Key responsibilities involve recruiting, motivating, supporting, and developing a team of Catering Sales and Convention Service Managers to maintain excellence in sales performance. This manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for daily catering sales operations, establish booking goals, and collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to align strategies with overall business objectives.
This job requires an individual who embodies leadership excellence, effective communication, and a solid understanding of hospitality operations including menu planning, event service, and facility management. The role demands proactive relationship building with customers and internal departments, delivering meticulous event coordination, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and expand market share. It also involves overseeing budget management, forecasting, and developing creative sales and marketing programs to boost local catering business.

- Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of progressive sales experience
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Prior sales leadership experience preferred
