We are currently seeking a full-time Development and Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This position is critical to planning and executing engaging events that enrich our members' experience across all three YMCA branches within Dane County. The Development and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for organizing family-friendly and community-centered activities that foster a fun, safe, and inclusive atmosphere. This role involves collaborating closely with branch leadership, marketing, and membership teams to promote events effectively and ensure smooth logistics. In addition to event coordination, this position supports development and fundraising efforts, contributing to the charitable mission and growth of the YMCA of Dane County. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized individual passionate about community engagement and event management. This role requires strong communication skills to interact with members, staff, and community partners, ensuring events meet safety and risk management standards. The Development and Engagement Coordinator will also play a supportive role in social media and fundraising initiatives, helping to increase the visibility and impact of YMCA programs. • 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED required (degree preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of event planning experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities
