The Deli/Bakery Associate role at Walmart Supercenter #5082 is a full-time position offering an hourly wage ranging from $17 to $30 per hour. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements based on the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and various premiums for specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, which can range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour. Available shifts for this role include mid-shift and closing shifts, providing some flexibility in scheduling. This position is pivotal in ensuring the preparation and presentation of quality deli and bakery products to customers. Associates engage directly with customers at the service counter, providing helpful assistance and fulfilling orders with accuracy and a friendly demeanor. Beyond customer interaction, the role involves managing incoming merchandise, restocking the sales floor, and strictly adhering to food safety and cleanliness standards to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
