This position is a full-time opportunity with an annual salary range between $88,400 and $111,300, complemented by an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or an uncapped sales incentive plan. The role of Director of Housekeeping at Tenaya Lodge involves leading the entire housekeeping department to ensure the resort maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The Director will oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas meet and exceed quality and safety standards. Inventory management and ordering of supplies and equipment also fall under the Director’s responsibilities, along with monitoring expenses and payroll to maintain budgetary control. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach, including conducting thorough inspections, managing corrective actions, and occasionally driving company vehicles across the property.
