This particular job opportunity is for a Part-Time Day Porter position based in Pueblo, Colorado. This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and organization within a medical building environment. The Day Porter will be responsible for ensuring that the facility remains sanitary, orderly, and welcoming for all patients, visitors, and staff. This position involves routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards. Special attention is given to safety protocols and infection control practices due to the medical nature of the building. The Day Porter will also manage waste disposal, including medical waste, replenish cleaning supplies, assist in preparing meeting and event spaces, and coordinate with maintenance and facility teams to report problems or areas needing repair. The work hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a consistent schedule for part-time employment. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour, providing a competitive wage for the duties performed. Ideal candidates will bring previous janitorial or custodial experience and have strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment.
