The current opportunity at Proof of the Pudding is for experienced Food Service Workers to join the team supporting Duke University athletic events, special occasions, and student athlete services. This role is seasonal and part-time, aligning with the demands of athletic events and ensuring seamless food service at games and other functions. The Food Service Worker will primarily assist in the front of house operations at the Athlete Training Table and will serve as the hospitality suites lead during football gamedays and other sporting events. This position requires individuals who are energetic, customer-focused, and detail-oriented, capable of providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. 
Responsibilities include setting up food stations, transporting hot and cold food items throughout service areas, replenishing food supplies as needed, and operating interactive stations such as smoothie bars. Workers will serve and clear food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to proper techniques, and maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and workspaces consistently. Coordination with the Front of House Supervisor is crucial to ensure flawless execution of events. Additional tasks involve inventory management, event setup and breakdown, and strict adherence to food handling and sanitation guidelines. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking across event spaces, occasionally bending and lifting items up to 30 pounds, and working across various terrains within the campus and stadium grounds.
