The Cleaner role at ABM offers an excellent opportunity for individuals entering or reentering the workforce, including those with limited experience or education. This position focuses on providing cleaning and upkeep services for assigned areas within buildings and facilities, playing a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Cleaner will be responsible for following established procedures to use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely, ensuring no damage occurs to floors or fixtures. The role also involves communicating effectively with team members and clients while adhering to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards. Pay for this position is $17.50 per hour, with training provided on the job. There is no requirement for a high school diploma, GED, or college degree, making it accessible to a wide range of applicants. While no prior experience is necessary, individuals with customer service experience or similar cleaning work experience may find this role especially suitable. Duties include cleaning furniture, fixtures, floors, walls, and equipment; washing and replacing blinds; moving furniture and equipment as necessary; servicing restrooms; and performing seasonal tasks such as snow removal or grass cutting. The Cleaner must also be vigilant in reporting any needed repairs to management to ensure the upkeep of facility operations.
