We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter\/General Cleaner to join our team. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $17 per hour and requires availability during weekday daytime hours, specifically from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. The role is based in the RTP area of North Carolina and involves physical work with lifting requirements, so candidates must be capable of lifting 35 pounds repetitively. The Janitorial Day Porter\/General Cleaner is a crucial member of our facility services team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various client properties. This role includes general cleaning duties such as restocking bathrooms, putting supplies away, pulling trash, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and vacuuming. The individual will follow instructions from supervisors or managers to accomplish daily tasks and ensure a workplace that meets client expectations. Additionally, flexibility is important in this role as the Day Porter may be called upon to backfill for the mailroom operator when needed. This means occasional driving of a cargo van as part of daily or weekly mail route responsibilities, adding variety and additional responsibilities to the position. Our ideal candidate is experienced in general cleaning with at least one year of relevant experience, reliable, and able to manage physical tasks comfortably.
