The position available is for a Day Porter, also known as a Public Area Attendant, who plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and positive image of public areas in various facilities managed by CSG. The Day Porter is responsible for keeping all assigned public areas tidy, free of debris, and maintained to the highest standards to promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests, residents, and visitors alike. The role requires a dedicated worker who takes pride in their tasks and demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and service quality. Working as a Day Porter involves routine cleaning and maintenance of public facilities, daily upkeep of cleaning equipment, and assisting guests when necessary. The position demands the use of appropriate personal protective equipment consistently and adherence to safety measures such as posting caution signs when required. This role also encompasses responsibility for equipment care, completing deep cleaning projects as assigned, and promptly reporting any injuries, damage, or missing items to the Public Area Supervisor. Candidates for this position should possess a strong work ethic and the integrity to work independently, along with a thorough knowledge of industry-standard cleaning methods, tools, and equipment. They must be physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, walking, stooping, handling cleaning machinery, and standing for extended periods. Flexibility in working weekends or holidays may be necessary.
