This position is a full-time, hybrid role on the second shift (nights), specifically from 7 pm to 3:30 am Monday through Friday, including a night-side training period. The role is pivotal for ensuring that freight and goods smoothly enter the United States by managing the coordination and processing of all necessary documentation for customs and government agencies on behalf of importers. It involves ensuring that shipments comply with all regulations and record-keeping requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date shipment documentation, and working closely with internal departments, external customers, carriers, brokers, and government agencies to provide outstanding service. The Customs Brokerage Coordinator is responsible for obtaining accurate classification of goods for customs clearance by consulting various databases and customs resources, managing data entry tasks for import documentation, and potentially handling filings with Participating Government Agencies (PGAs). The role demands a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and high-volume work with minimum supervision. This is a critical position within FedEx Logistics’ operations, contributing directly to the seamless flow of international trade and customs compliance. The compensation for this role ranges from $15.43 to $24.46 per hour, depending on experience and location.
