The Customer Service role at Tony's Fresh Markets plays a critical part in maintaining the high standards of customer satisfaction that the company is known for. This position is integral to supporting the Administration Department and the Front-End Manager by supervising front-end staff, which includes cashiers, sackers, go-backs, and maintenance personnel. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring smooth customer flow, overseeing cash handling procedures, processing refunds and voids, and handling customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone. By acting as a role model embodying the company’s core values, the Customer Service employee contributes to a positive shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty and community trust. This position demands a proactive and service-oriented approach, combined with strong organizational skills to keep daily operations at the front end efficient and effective. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing daily reports, adhering strictly to company policies such as item refund and coupon handling, and enforcing loss prevention protocols. The role requires a hands-on leader who is available to assist cashiers when necessary and who can maintain professionalism while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years customer service and retail experience desirable
• bilingual: Spanish and English preferred
