The role of Customer Service Representative at Modern Aviation is pivotal to maintaining and elevating the customer experience. The Customer Service Representative acts as the front-line ambassador of Modern Aviation, ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. This role demands the ability to handle customer requests efficiently and calmly under pressure, managing multiple tasks while preserving a client-focused approach. Responsibilities include coordinating a variety of services such as hotel bookings, catering, ground transportation, aircraft fueling, and hangar storage, as well as entering trip details into scheduling software and keeping customer databases up to date. The representative communicates actively with flight crews and other service providers via various communication channels, including air-to-ground and ground-to-ground radios. This role also involves educating clients about Modern Aviation's available services, processing invoices, resolving customer inquiries, and fostering strong relationships with local service providers. Maintaining the appearance and readiness of the lobby, ensuring refreshments are stocked, and tracking flight movements are additional key components of the job. This position is nonexempt, based in a professional office environment, but requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and potentially under noise and physical activity constraints. The Customer Service Representative must be at least 18 years of age with strong communication and multitasking skills, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, and possess valid driving credentials. Previous experience in customer service or knowledge of aviation operations is desirable but not mandatory.
