Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Customer Service Representative acts as the welcoming face of K9 Kampus, blending concierge-level hospitality with a genuine love for pets and people. The ideal candidate is both a people-person and a pet-person, adept at multitasking and willing to work in a physically demanding atmosphere involving standing, walking, climbing stairs, and handling leashes. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, managing client communications with warmth and professionalism, touring new customers through the facility, ensuring vaccination compliance, and balancing the cash drawer. The role demands flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as care does not pause for pets. Candidates must also be comfortable with exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and occasional pet-related accidents while maintaining a clean, welcoming lobby environment. Exceptional communication skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities are crucial, given the fast-paced nature of the position and the variety of customers and pets encountered. Experience in customer service or retail is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
