The role of Customer Service Representative / Lot Attendant at U-Haul involves being at the frontline of customer interaction and service delivery. This position combines customer service duties with hands-on operational responsibilities to ensure customers receive exceptional assistance during their moving journeys. Employees in this role work closely with a supportive team and use up-to-date technology such as smartphone-based U-Scan to manage equipment rentals and inventory efficiently. The job includes inspecting and maintaining equipment, helping customers choose and understand the services, preparing rental invoices, and handling equipment returns. Additionally, this role requires the physical handling of U-Haul trucks and trailers, installing hitches and trailer wiring, driving forklifts, and filling propane tanks following proper certification.
