The role of Crowd Coordinator is pivotal at the Greensboro Complex, a multi-building venue hub located in Greensboro that serves as a cornerstone for community events and regional economic contributions. This complex hosts a wide variety of events including athletic competitions, concerts, cultural showcases, educational activities, and private as well as public gatherings such as trade shows and conventions. The Greensboro Complex comprises nine distinctive venues, most notably the iconic 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, a venue renowned for hosting prestigious NCAA and ACC basketball championships and legendary concert performances from globally recognized artists including Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and contemporary stars like Drake and Taylor Swift. Other notable facilities in the complex include the extensive Special Events Center, White Oak Amphitheatre, Novant Health Fieldhouse, Piedmont Hall, the Greensboro Aquatic Center, and several smaller performance and meeting venues.
The Crowd Coordinator position offers an hourly wage of $15.00 and involves delivering direct and exceptional customer service to guests while upholding the highest standards of safety and hospitality throughout their experience at the Greensboro Complex. As a Crowd Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring crowd behavior, managing entry screening protocols, and promptly addressing any incidents or safety concerns. This role requires effective communication, vigilance, and a proactive mindset to ensure all guests enjoy a safe and enjoyable event. Additional duties include completing detailed incident and misconduct reports, leading crowd control initiatives to de-escalate conflicts, and assisting in emergency evacuation procedures by guiding guests to safety.
