The available position is a full-time, non-management role within The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte. Work schedules require open availability including weekends, and the hourly pay rate for this role is $15.00. This job is distinctly centered around delivering extraordinary food and beverage service through a multifaceted and guest-oriented approach. The role is designed for individuals who are proactive, attentive, and passionate about enhancing the guest experience beyond simply serving food. Employees in this position, referred to as Experts in Guest Service, perform various essential tasks such as setting tables, assisting in the kitchen, cleaning work areas, and restocking supplies. These duties ensure that the food and beverage service is seamlessly integrated into an unforgettable guest experience.
In addition to physical tasks like standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching high places, and executing movements that require bending, twisting, and stretching, the employee must maintain high standards of professionalism. This includes adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment, and presenting a polished, uniformed appearance. Team members also need to have keen attention to detail, frequently reviewing menus and related information to provide correct and up-to-date service. This role is critical to maintaining the Ritz-Carlton's Gold Standards of service, which set the global benchmark for luxury hospitality.
