Morrison Healthcare is currently hiring for full-time Cook positions located in the Heart of Florida at 40100 Highway 27, Davenport, FL 33837. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $15.45 to $19.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to attract and retain skilled culinary professionals. The Cook plays a critical role in Morrison Healthcare by preparing food in accordance with federal, state, and company-specific standards, guidelines, and regulations. This responsibility includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals that meet established production and service schedules. The position demands strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, including HACCP standards, to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patients. Cooks will be instrumental in food preparation, portion control, presentation, and maintaining the proper temperature of all food items. Furthermore, the role requires collaboration with teammates and maintaining excellent working relationships within the healthcare food service environment.
In addition to food preparation, Cooks at Morrison Healthcare will be involved in various operational tasks such as equipment operation and maintenance, cleaning and organizing kitchen storage areas, assisting in inventory management, and supporting production planning and record-keeping activities.
