The role of Cook at Oak View Group is pivotal in delivering high-quality food services within its dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position is based at InterCo Stadium, a premier soccer-specific stadium located in Downtown Orlando. Opened in 2017, InterCo Stadium is home to Orlando City of Major League Soccer (MLS) and Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Notably, the stadium stands out as the first MLS stadium to launch with five consecutive wins and was entirely privately funded at a cost of $155 million. Its advanced design features include a 360-degree lower bowl, North America’s first safe-standing supporters’ section known as "The Wall," and a four-sided canopy roof to enhance the acoustic and weather experience. The facility honors local heritage and community members with dedicated memorial seating and hosts a wide variety of prestigious sports and cultural events. Serving as a Cook at InterCo Stadium, the individual will be responsible for preparing menu items using various cooking equipment while upholding exceptional food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. This role demands proficiency in portion control, food waste management, and sanitation, which are crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with health regulations. The Cook is integral to the delivery of the "Orlando Made" food and beverage program, which highlights local culinary favorites, giving guests a taste of the City Beautiful’s rich local flavors under one roof. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $19.00 and comes with valuable part-time benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching options. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment preferred
• Must be able to operate kitchen equipment safely
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain sanitation standards
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and event days
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
• Valid food handling certificate if required by local regulations
