The Prep Cook position at Boise Airport is a dynamic role suited for individuals passionate about culinary excellence and teamwork. The role is offered as either full-time or part-time employment, paying $16.80 per hour. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing food items according to specified recipes and standards, managing multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The individual in this role will communicate closely with chefs for instruction and training, uphold strict sanitation procedures, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen space. The role involves critical tasks such as food labeling, dating, wrapping following ServSafe procedures, and performing opening, closing, and side duties, including end-of-day inventory.
