Reporting to the designated venue Sous Chef, the Cook II prepares a variety of specialty cuisine and standard menu items, strictly adhering to approved recipes, cooking methods, and ingredient guidelines set by the Food and Beverage/Culinary Management team. This position involves maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation aligned with health codes and casino standards. The Cook II plays an essential role in delivering a memorable dining experience to guests by ensuring consistent quality, flavor profiles, and presentation of all food items. This role is hourly and ideal for a culinary professional eager to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment such as a casino resort. Not only does the position require culinary skill and attention to detail, but it also demands a positive, team-oriented attitude toward guests, fellow team members, and management. Essential functions include knowledge of basic food products, cooking methods, and food production equipment; proficient knife skills; effective food rotation practices; and the ability to read and interpret food order tickets.
