The hourly pay rate is set at $25.42, reflecting the value placed on skilled culinary artisans in the hotel’s food and beverage department. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads and pastries, including dough preparation, baking, proofing, and decorating, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. You will be expected to review the daily production sheet to understand the array of baked goods to be produced and carefully follow food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain compliance with the hotel’s rigorous kitchen safety programs. Your duties will also include monitoring appliance temperatures, ensuring the quality and presentation of food, maintaining kitchen logs, and communicating effectively with management about inventory levels and production planning.
