Located at Wesley Homes Lea Hill in Auburn, Washington, Morrison Living is currently seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join their culinary team as full-time and part-time cooks. The position provides a dynamic work schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends, giving candidates flexible time options. Those with prior cooking experience are preferred, but the company is also willing to provide training for the right candidates. Pay for this position ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, reflecting the value placed on skilled culinary professionals.
The cook role is critical in ensuring that food is prepared in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, following established policies and procedures to maintain both quality and safety. Employees are tasked with producing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes, maintaining serving temperatures, and adhering strictly to portion control. This position demands attention to detail and a commitment to food safety, including compliance with HACCP standards. The cook will also play an integral role in keeping the kitchen clean and orderly, managing food storage, operating kitchen equipment properly, and contributing to inventory and supply management.
