As a culinary team member, you will be responsible for the preparation of high-quality meals in accordance with standard recipes and special dietary requirements. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Sous Chef, particularly in managing food supplies and inventory. This ensures that all food preparation is efficient, ingredients are fresh, leftovers are appropriately stored, and supplies are replenished in a timely manner. The role requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an emphasis on maintaining proper sanitation and safe food handling standards. Clear communication and cooperative teamwork are essential, as you will be working closely with other restaurant team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents. • high school diploma or equivalent
• prior experience working in the senior living industry preferred but not required
• at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen restaurant or a similar operation
• knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
• ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members
• self-motivated organized and professional
• ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time
• strong customer service skills
