The Cook role at Crestmoor at Green Hills is an essential position responsible for preparing nutritious and visually appealing meals that contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of the senior residents. Working with fresh, canned, dry, and frozen ingredients, the cook will prepare a variety of dishes, including soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, and baked goods, while adhering to dietary restrictions and special nutritional requirements.
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $22 to $27 and requires availability during weekends and holidays, reflecting the community’s commitment to providing continuous exceptional care. As a Cook at Crestmoor at Green Hills, you will be entrusted with key responsibilities such as monitoring food quality for taste and temperature, maintaining a sanitized and orderly kitchen, managing stock levels with supervisor approval, and supporting new kitchen staff through training and orientation. Members of this team also actively participate in the community’s emergency response efforts, underscoring the critical role of safety and preparedness.
