The company is currently hiring a full-time Cook for its location at Mira Costa College in Oceanside, California. This position offers a competitive pay range between $20.00 and $22.00 per hour and provides a variety of excellent benefits. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with varying hours that include some nights and weekends. The role is aimed at individuals with previous cooking experience preferred but shows a willingness to train promising candidates who may be new to the cooking profession. As a Cook at CulinArt, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, adhering to established recipes and guidelines to ensure food safety, quality, and presentation. The role requires mastery in food preparation and portion control, ensuring meals are served at the correct temperature and maintaining an attractive and tasty appearance. In addition to cooking, the position involves maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, following safe food handling procedures, and operating kitchen equipment responsibly. The successful candidate will be expected to follow company safety standards, including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant footwear to prevent workplace injuries. This role also involves teamwork and good communication skills, as you will be interacting with coworkers, management, and clients to maintain a harmonious and efficient foodservice environment.
