Currently, Eurest is urgently hiring full-time Cook positions at the GE Aerospace location in Lynn, Massachusetts. This role is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, offering a competitive fixed pay rate of $21.50 per hour with full benefits available after 90 days of continuous employment. The ideal candidates will have one to two years of prior cooking experience in fast-paced environments and must be fluent in English to ensure clear communication and safety within the kitchen environment. The Cook at Eurest is entrusted with the crucial role of preparing high-quality food items consistently adhering to standardized recipes, corporate policies, and applicable federal and state regulations. They play an essential part in ensuring all food served meets rigorous quality, presentation, temperature, and portion control standards to provide an outstanding dining experience. This reference position requires a passion for quality and cleanliness, given responsibilities such as managing kitchen cleanliness, complying with food safety and handling guidelines, and operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Moreover, the Cook will be involved in critical operational tasks, including monitoring food inventory and stock storage, assisting in production planning, maintaining detailed service records, and supporting ordering and receiving functions for food supplies. Strong teamwork abilities and excellent interpersonal skills are essential as the Cook will maintain productive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, administrators, and customers.
