The role of Cook at Compass Group requires an individual who is experienced in food preparation, understands cooking temperatures, proficient in knife skills, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. The position involves preparing food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety at every stage of food service. This is a full-time role with a schedule from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $21.00. The Cook will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness, adhering to safety protocols such as the use of cut gloves and proper lifting techniques, and ensuring that all food items served are attractive, tasty, and served at the correct temperature. The Cook is also responsible for equipment operation, inventory assistance, and record-keeping, making the role dynamic and vital to the smooth function of the foodservice operation. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
