The Kitchen Team Member position is a vital role within our restaurant’s culinary operations. Starting at a competitive wage of USD 20.50 per hour, this position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential. Employees in this role will be responsible for maintaining constant communication with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities include monitoring food quality, marinating and breading chicken to perfection, and ensuring that all chicken used is properly inspected for safety and freshness. The role adheres strictly to recipes and protocols, including precise chicken forecasting and oil filtration to maintain taste and health standards. Additionally, thorough cleaning of equipment and maintaining overall sanitation in food preparation areas, cooking services, and cleaning utensils are crucial components of the job.
Team members are expected to follow all health and safety regulations rigorously, ensuring the restaurant complies with all legal and company standards for cleanliness and food safety. This role also demands physical stamina to lift and push up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and provide flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, preferably with one or more years of similar experience, and must comply with company policies regarding personal care and hygiene. Furthermore, eligibility to work in the United States with authorized documents is required.
