The Cook role within Atria Senior Living’s Dining Services team is a vital position responsible for preparing nutritious, appetizing, and visually appealing meals for residents. This role is instrumental in maintaining the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen while adhering strictly to established guidelines such as Holiday menus and recipes. The role requires someone who is attentive to detail, skilled in following food safety and sanitation standards, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. This position offers a competitive wage range of $19.00 to $21.85 per hour, dependent on prior work history and experience, and is ideal for individuals with experience in the industry or full-service restaurant cooking who want to contribute positively to a senior living environment. • High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience in industry or full-service restaurant cooking
• Ability to prepare and follow Holiday recipes
• Effective communication in English and excellent customer service skills
• General knowledge of and ability to conform to sanitation and safe food handling practices
• Basic computer skills preferred
