The current opening is for the position of Front Office Agent at the Hampton Inn Fort Wayne, located at 5702 Challenger Parkway, Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role is hourly compensated and requires an individual dedicated to providing exceptional guest service from check-in to checkout while efficiently managing room revenue and occupancy. The Front Office Agent acts as the initial point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering courteous, attentive, and efficient service. Duties include answering guest inquiries about local dining, transportation, and entertainment options; managing cash and credit in accordance with hotel policies; and being knowledgeable about rates, special promotions, packages, and group bookings. Success in this role demands familiarity with hospitality terminology, emergency procedures, and proficiency in operating the front desk computer system. The agent will handle check-ins and checkouts with a friendly and professional demeanor, maintain clean and orderly work areas, market hotel promotions and guest programs, and assist guests with secure deposit boxes. Additionally, the Front Office Agent must exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively, and contribute to maintaining safety and efficiency as per Highgate standards.   • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Computer experience required
