The role of Cook 1 at Invited is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start or build a career in professional cooking within a dynamic and respected hospitality company. This entry-level position is designed to support kitchen operations by focusing on foundational cooking tasks, including the set-up, preparation, and organization of a designated workstation. Under the guidance of more experienced cooks and chefs, the Cook 1 will execute essential food preparation duties, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, and assist in producing high-quality food and beverage items. The position involves closely collaborating with Cook 2 and Cook 3 team members to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation, adhering to Invited’s rigorous standards and culinary expectations.
Individuals in this role will be responsible for a variety of duties such as preparing and storing food items, managing condiments and sauces, receiving goods, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Communication with kitchen leadership, including the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef, is vital to address any special product needs or quality concerns. The Cook 1 will also interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating any changes or last-minute requests to ensure a positive dining experience.
