The Controller role at Senior Aerospace SSP provides a unique leadership opportunity within the Finance and Accounting department. Reporting directly to senior management, this position is critical in ensuring timely financial closes, accurate financial reporting, and comprehensive budget preparation and variance analysis rooted in strong cost accounting principles. The Controller leads cross-functional alignment of operational and financial KPIs, maintains robust internal controls to safeguard the accuracy and reliability of financial statements, and ensures audit readiness and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
This role is responsible for managing a diverse team of finance professionals, overseeing the month-end closing process, forecasting business activity in key financial areas, and maintaining documented controls over accounting transactions and policies. The Controller also plays a significant role in budget development and reviews, inventory management, and capital budget oversight. Their work ensures regulatory compliance through accurate reporting and timely resolution of account variances. This full-time position offers a competitive annual target salary of $175,000, with working hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum 8 years of related professional accounting experience
- Proven experience in aerospace and/or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting concepts, internal controls and auditing practices
- Ability to lead finance teams and manage complex financial processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
