We are currently seeking a Concierge / Receptionist to join our team, often recognized as the "Director of First Impressions" for our community. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for prospects, guests, residents, and family members, playing a vital part in fostering an inviting and warm atmosphere. The Concierge supports community sales efforts by skillfully handling incoming calls and tours, effectively promoting our senior living community as a desirable place to live. This position offers telephone and administrative support across all departments and ensures that visitors and residents receive courteous, professional assistance. In this role, the Concierge is responsible for greeting guests and residents, managing communication systems such as phones, pages, and walkie-talkies, and maintaining building security by monitoring emergency call systems. The Concierge also helps organize participation in community programs and events, assists with mail and newspaper deliveries, and supports inventory management for office and community supplies. Additionally, the role requires adherence to HIPAA standards, ensuring the confidentiality of all medical and healthcare-related information concerning residents and employees. The position offers opportunities for continuous learning through in-service training sessions and encourages employees to exhibit professionalism, teamwork, and a strong ethical foundation. Ideal candidates for the Concierge / Receptionist role will have completed coursework or certification in office management, possess telephone operating experience, and ideally have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar concierge or administrative assistant role. Proficiency in English and an ability to use office equipment and miscellaneous software are essential. Candidates must be able to work independently, follow directions carefully, and uphold company standards of attendance and punctuality.
