The Concierge role within the multifamily division at Cushman & Wakefield is a customer-facing position integral to creating a positive resident experience. Responsible for being the friendly face of the property, the Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, prospective residents, guests, and vendors. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, providing resources, and promoting a sense of community within the apartment complex. Concierge personnel are tasked with various responsibilities including welcoming guests, handling after-hours package pickups, and addressing resident inquiries thoughtfully and professionally. They maintain communication logs and keep up-to-date information about active buildings to ensure smooth operations. An essential part of the role includes marketing the property through social media postings, blogging, and enhancing its internet presence, helping to attract new residents and maintain high community engagement.
This position also supports community-building initiatives by assisting with resident events both on-site and off-site, contributing to an engaging and sociable environment for all residents. Effective communication with management is a priority to promptly address any issues or concerns that may arise. The Concierge maintains confidentiality of resident information and adheres strictly to property guidelines and performance standards.
In addition to offering excellent customer service, the Concierge must be comfortable in a fast-paced setting, capable of working independently while maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance. The role requires physical stamina, as it involves standing and walking for extended periods, navigating staircases and outdoor environments, and occasionally lifting moderate weights.
The position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $20.00, dependent on experience and geographic location.
