The Concierge role at Century Park Associates is a vital position that acts as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and guests entering the community. Reporting to the Business Office Manager, the Concierge primarily operates in the front lobby area, providing exemplary customer service and reception in alignment with all applicable laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. This role is essential in maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the community’s core values of hospitality and resident care. The Concierge handles a variety of responsibilities that range from greeting and screening visitors to supporting administrative, sales, and marketing functions. Key tasks include demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette, managing resident and visitor flow, maintaining lobby presentation, and providing clerical support such as data entry and mail distribution. The person in this position also monitors lobby activity to ensure security and promptly reports any concerns regarding unauthorized visitors.
Moreover, the Concierge serves as a supportive link between the residents and the community’s back-office teams by managing resident check-in systems, coordinating guest room reservations, and assisting with electronic health record systems when necessary. This role demands trustworthiness, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently under frequent interruptions without supervision. The successful Concierge is cheerful, positive, responsive, and must display integrity and professionalism in adherence to Century Park’s Code of Ethics. This role serves a critical function in creating an inviting, safe, and organized environment that enhances the quality of life for senior residents and promotes positive relationships within the community. - Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Must demonstrate proficiency with office machines including fax and copier/scanner
