The community named Whispering Chase is currently seeking a Concierge to join their team. The Concierge plays a crucial role as the first point of contact and the initial impression for potential residents, their families, and visitors. This role requires a warm and welcoming professional who can effectively manage the community entry area, ensuring it remains inviting, safe, and orderly. The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, offering refreshments, answering telephone calls promptly with a professional greeting, and providing accurate information about the community. They also support the Director of Sales and the Executive Director by managing appointments, handling initial inquiries, and assisting with various administrative and marketing tasks. This position involves monitoring the Bistro area to maintain a pleasant atmosphere with refreshments and music, enhancing the overall experience of guests and residents alike.
A key responsibility of the Concierge is to contribute to community safety by ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and participating in risk management programs. They must maintain accurate records, including resident and team member rosters and manage emergency procedures efficiently. The Concierge is also tasked with assisting in the recruitment process by greeting potential job candidates, guiding them on how to apply online, and capturing applicant information to support the Applicant Tracking System. This role demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach that aligns with Sunrise Senior Living's core values and standards.
