The Concierge is the primary point of contact when entering the community, responsible for greeting guests and residents warmly and professionally. This role requires managing both external and internal communications effectively, ensuring messages are accurately recorded and delivered promptly. The Concierge provides general information to residents and visitors, assists with appointment scheduling, distributes mail, and performs various administrative duties that maintain the smooth operation of the community's entry and reception areas. This position operates on a regular rotating schedule, including every other weekend, with twelve-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm across three days each week. This scheduling allows for a balanced work-life dynamic while supporting the community's operational needs. The Concierge keeps detailed records such as the Resident Phone List, Move-In and Move-Out Registers, and Guest Sign-In Logs, and collaborates with the marketing and dining departments by preparing brochures and meal tickets. Maintaining a neat and organized front desk and entry area is essential to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all who enter. Ideal candidates for the Concierge role have a high school diploma or GED and possess one to three years of customer service experience or equivalent training, highlighting the importance of interpersonal skills and professionalism.
