The Complex Senior Event Manager at Hilton San Francisco Union Square plays a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of all hotel events. This role demands a dynamic individual responsible for comprehensive event documentation and seamless coordination among sales, various hotel departments, and clients. Your primary goal is to guarantee consistent, high-level service throughout all phases of an event — from the initial planning stages (pre-event) through to the actual event and post-event wrap-up. The focus is on handling complex events that require detailed planning, meticulous attention to client needs, and precision in execution. As a Complex Senior Event Manager, you act as the primary point of contact for event planners following the handover of events on-site, ensuring their experience is exceptional and the event runs smoothly. This requires proactive communication, conflict resolution, upselling strategies to maximize revenue, and the ability to anticipate and address client needs effectively. Ideal candidates bring at least two years of hotel sales, catering, or event sales experience, with knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc being a plus. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $108,000 annually, plus a bonus. Additionally, Hilton provides a highly rewarding Short-Term Incentive Plan (SIP) designed to motivate the sales, catering, and events teams. This plan includes a quarterly bonus component worth 20% of bonus-eligible earnings, with multiple opportunities to earn based on individual objectives.
