The Member Experience Representative role at Pelican State Credit Union is a vital front-line position focused on greeting members upon entering the branch and assisting them with a wide range of financial needs. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who thrives in both interpersonal and digital communication environments, engaging with members in person, by phone, and through text or digital messages. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver outstanding service and support while performing various financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing. Additionally, the Member Experience Representative supports teller and lobby operations, ensuring the smooth flow of member interactions within the branch. A typical day for someone in this role includes acting as a concierge for members, facilitating lobby flow, assisting with account opening and closing, balancing the teller drawer, and supporting Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) operations. Furthermore, the role involves promoting and cross-selling Pelican’s financial products and services to meet member needs effectively. This aspect underscores the position’s sales environment, where meeting monthly sales goals plays a crucial part.
