Newrez is a dynamic and innovative financial services company dedicated to exceeding the expectations of residential mortgage borrowers and business partners through superior service, simplified processes, and effective communications. As a company rooted in a mission to empower its employees and foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration, Newrez not only delivers exceptional mortgage solutions but also places a strong emphasis on cultivating a positive workplace culture. The company recognizes its employees as its greatest asset and encourages superior performance and innovative thinking to support its continued growth and success. At Newrez, the culture is driven by a commitment to the "Care Fiercely" philosophy, which translates into tangible programs and events designed to engage employees, support development, and enhance workplace unity across multiple locations. The organization values employee connection and strives to create both virtual and in-person experiences that resonate and leave a lasting positive impact. This creates an energizing and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute their best. The role of Company Culture and Event Specialist is crucial in this context, as it involves managing and executing large-scale engagement events and programs that reflect the core values and culture of Newrez. This is not a traditional human resource position but rather a specialized role focused on event planning, program management, and communication initiatives that promote employee engagement and satisfaction. This position reports to a collaborative team responsible for creating meaningful and effective engagement strategies that span across the entire organization. As a Company Culture and Event Specialist, you will be responsible for managing both virtual and in-person events, ensuring smooth logistics, effective communications, and seamless coordination with internal teams and external vendors. You will focus on program delivery for five core company sites, making sure that employees at all locations—including remote or non-core sites—have access to engaging virtual experiences. By tracking program outcomes and metrics, you will provide actionable insights aimed at enhancing employee engagement and continuously improving event strategies. Your role includes building strong relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure alignment with the company’s business goals and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. You will be entrusted with supporting Newrez’s DE&I and Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, working closely with team leaders to plan and implement inclusive events that foster a sense of community and shared purpose. This position requires a highly organized, self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will be expected to leverage tools like Smartsheet, Canva, and internal engagement platforms to facilitate event management and track participation effectively. You must have excellent communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly to senior leadership while also engaging employees at all levels. A proactive approach and the ability to work comfortably amid ambiguity are essential traits for success in this role. This is an on-site position, reflecting Newrez’s commitment to hands-on engagement and collaboration. Candidates must be comfortable working within a structured environment that values initiative and innovation. Employment is contingent on meeting the company's security standards for mobile devices. Join Newrez as a Company Culture and Event Specialist and contribute to building a workplace where every employee feels connected, valued, and inspired to "Care Fiercely." This role offers the unique opportunity to influence company culture and make a measurable impact on the employee experience through thoughtfully designed engagement programs that align with Newrez's mission and core values.
