The Community Outreach Coordinator role at LCSNW is a pivotal position that focuses on enhancing and managing the volunteer program within Yamhill County. This position plays a critical role in recruiting, training, coordinating, appreciating, and managing volunteers who support various programs aligned with LCSNW's mission. Working closely with the District Leadership Team, the Community Outreach Coordinator ensures that volunteer efforts are strategic, well-organized, and responsive to program needs and development goals. The role involves cultivating strong partnerships with local institutions such as higher education bodies, businesses, service groups, schools, and churches to establish a steady pipeline of volunteers and interns. Additionally, it requires a hands-on approach to managing volunteer workflows, facilitating training programs, recognizing volunteer contributions, and coordinating special projects and fundraising initiatives involving community volunteers.
